Paul Pogba gave visitors to New York’s Central Park a surprise, as he continued to work on his fitness in the United States.
The Manchester United midfielder, who has spoken this summer of his desire to move clubs, is yet to join up with his teammates in the UK for pre-season training.
Having ended last season late due to international duty with France, Pogba has instead been working on his physical condition alone during a trip to the US.
And his latest social media videos showed he certainly isn’t hiding as speculation over his future mounts.
Rather than take part in behind closed doors fitness work, Pogba immersed himself in the public eye by running through Central Park.
Park-goers were surprised to see the player, sporting an Atalanta United shirt for whom his brother Floretin plays for, suddenly burst into a sprint along the famous tree-lined pathways frequented by tourists and residents.
He weaved his way in and out of the pedestrians before slowing making his way back and then repeating the exercise.
Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, confirmed to The Times of London in recent days his client's desire to depart Manchester United.
"Everyone knows the willingness of Paul to move on. We are in the process of that. Everyone knows what the feelings of Paul are."
He added: "Everyone within the club, from the manager to the owner, knows Paul's wishes."
