Spain's La Liga is still targeting June 12 to restart the season, despite five players from the top two divisions testing positive for the coronavirus over the past week.

Professional football in Spain has taken steps toward a return as players return to their clubs' training grounds to participate in individual sessions following the Spanish government's gradual easing of lockdown restrictions.

Players in Spain's top-flight and Segunda division were allowed to carry out individual work at training grounds last week, with the likes of Barcelona, Real and Atletico Madrid all welcoming their squads back.

Barcelona led La Liga by two points from Real Madrid when Spain's top two divisions were shut down in March as the country - one of the hardest-hit by the pandemic with 268,000 total cases and more than 26,000 deaths - struggled to contain the Covid-19 outbreak.

Above is a picture gallery of La Liga's top scorers with 11 matches remaining for each team.
