LEICESTER RATINGS: Kasper Schmeichel - 7, Bravely came out to punch the ball away despite pressure from Kyle Bartley. Didn’t have much to do but was convincing whenever called upon. EPA

Wesley Fofana - 6, Looked so comfortable on the ball, but this moved into complacency towards the end of the first half, as his misplaced pass lead to a chance for the Baggies. AP

Jonny Evans - 9, Did well defensively and distributed the ball brilliantly against his former club. Even scored his first goal since December 2019. PA

Caglar Soyuncu - 7, Made a great run up the pitch, played the ball around well when he had it and looked solid defensively. EPA

Timothy Castagne - 9, His runs up and down the pitch were brilliant, with one of those leading to the opener. Another resulted in a chance that saw the Belgian hit the post. Was also reliable defensively when called upon. AP

Wilfred Ndidi - 7, Remained hungry to win the ball back the entire game and looked solid at the base of Leicester’s midfield. AP

Youri Tielemans - 8, Played the ball around brilliantly. Hit a perfectly weighted pass to Castagne in the lead up to the opener, and his corner resulted in the second. EPA

Luke Thomas - 7, Kept things simple and remained effective in his work up and down the left hand side, playing a nice pass to Vardy in the build-up to the third. Reuters

James Maddison - 8, Was afforded so much time and space, using it well as the midfielder moved the ball masterfully. One lovely pass resulted in Castagne hitting the post. Reuters

Kelechi Iheanacho - 8, The Nigerian surprisingly missed a couple of good chances, but took his goal well to put the Foxes three up. The confidence he is feeling was so clear to see. EPA

Jamie Vardy - 9, He was so sharp throughout the first half, taking his goal brilliantly and putting in some superb work to assist Iheanacho. Took his foot off the gas in the second work, but the game was out of sight by then. Getty

SUBSTITUTES: Marc Albrighton (Fofana 62’) - 6, Was busy in his play immediately, looking to inject extra pace into a game that had gone a little bit flat. Ayoze Perez (Maddison 73) – N/A, Showed moments of intelligence but didn’t manage to have a large impact on the game. EPA

Dennis Praet (Vardy 85’) – N/R, Was neat in his play and moved the ball around nicely. PA

WEST BROM RATINGS: Sam Johnstone - 7, This may seem kind for somebody who conceded so many, but he had some brilliant moments, with one being that he ushered Iheanacho away from the goal early on. EPA

Darnell Furlong - 5, Was very poor defensively in the first half but came out with a little bit more intent in the second. AP

Dara O’Shea - 4, Let Evans get away from him far too easily for the second, and was then nutmegged by Vardy in the lead up to the third. Made some decent recovery runs and blocks though. AP

Kyle Bartley - 4, Really struggled to deal with Iheanachoin the first half, with the Nigerian finding it so easy to get away from him. The centre-back was so flat-footed at times and was booked for pulling back Perez. Reuters

Conor Townsend - 4, Got away with a poor touch that allowed Iheanacho to get in early on. Didn’t learn his lesson and some terrible positional play meant he completely lost Castagne for the opener. Showed improvements in the second half. Getty

Matt Phillips - 4, Was so weak dealing with the corner for Leicester’s second, and was lucky that Jamie Vardy took a shot from range after he fell asleep. Had an effort that went straight at Schmeichel. AP

Okay Yokuslu - 5, His poor pass got West Brom in trouble, while the midfielder gave Maddison far too much room in the first half. Showed more fight than most of his teammates and was booked for a foul on Castagne. AP

Ainsley Maitland-Niles - 4, Hit a horrible shot that rolled out of play and it summed up what was a really poor performance from the loanee, who had such little presence in the middle. Reuters

Callum Robinson - 5, Was one of very few West Brom players who looked remotely capable of making something happen, though even he didn’t offer that much. EPA

Matheus Pereira - 4, The Brazilian hit the bar with a corner delivery but was completely anonymous for large periods of the game. PA

Mbaye Diagne - 3, Completely messed up his chance early on and was quiet for the majority of the time that followed. Made a shocking pass when there was a possible chance of catching Leicester on the break. PA

SUBSTITUTES: Semi Ajayi (Robinson HT) - 5, Didn’t always look totally convincing but helped West Brom save themselves from any further embarrassment in the second half. Missed a good chance with his head. PA

Hal Robson-Kanu (Diagne 62’) - 6, Added some extra fight into West Brom’s game but was unable to work any real opportunities for himself. Karlan Grant (Pereira 73’) – N/A, Provided good hold up play at times but didn’t see a lot of the ball. PA

Leicester defeated West Brom 3-0 to strengthen their grip on a Premier League top-four place.

Brendan Rodgers' team were wobbling after losing their previous two top-flight matches but were brilliant at the King Power Stadium on Thursday.

First-half goals from Jamie Vardy, Jonny Evans and Kelechi Iheanacho gave West Brom a mountain to climb and Leicester kept a firm grip on the match after the break.

Third-placed Leicester, whose implosion at the end of last season cost them a Champions League place, now have a four-point lead over Chelsea and West Ham, with just six games to go.

"It was a good win, any win is a big win. Our intensity was really good in the first half hour. I wasn't happy at half time as our passing wasn't good enough," Leicester manager Rodgers said.

"I am not thinking about the other teams, we have to think about ourselves. We can only control ourselves."
