Al Jazira have appointed Nick Garcia from City Football Group as their group chief executive, the Arabian Gulf League club announced on Sunday. A sports management professional with 20 years experience, Garcia will oversee Al Jazira's club activities. He previously worked at CFG, whose flagship club are Premier League side Manchester City, where he helped to devise and execute the group's commercial strategy in the United Kingdom. Garcia has considerable experience working in Abu Dhabi, having spent five years building CSM Middle East into one of the region’s leading sports marketing agencies until 2012.
