Extra Time podcast episode 13: Everton sack Koeman, could Bilic or Klopp be next?

Managers under pressure is this week's theme as Jon Turner, Steve Luckings and John McAuley look at other managers who might follow Koeman out the door.

Ronald Koeman became the third Premier League managerial casualty of the season on Monday when he was dismissed by Everton.

The 54-year-old Dutchman, who guided Everton to seventh in his first season in charge last term, paid the price for a desperate start to the campaign despite having spent £140 million (Dh677.5m) in the summer.

Sunday's 5-2 humbling at home to Arsenal, which saw them drop into the bottom three, sealed his fate and despite taking training on Monday he received a visit from club chairman Bill Kenwright where he was told his services would no longer be required.

John McAuley and Steve Luckings join Jon Turner in the studio to see where it all went wrong for Koeman and possible replacements for the Dutchman in the Goodison Park hot-seat.

There are other managers whose jobs are under scrutiny too. We look at Jurgen Klopp and Slaven Bilic's situations at Liverpool and West Ham United respectively, with both feeling the heat following a poor run of results.

Premier League football correspondent Richard Jolly also joins us on the phone to discuss Manchester United's defeat to Huddersfield Town that saw Jose Mourinho question the attitude of his players.

We’ll look ahead to see when Sergio Aguero might break Manchester City’s scoring record after the Argentine striker levelled Eric Brook’s tally of 177 goals with his penalty in the 3-0 win over Burnley.
