Sergio Aguero led the way with a hat-trick as Manchester City made it two wins from two matches in the Premier League by thrashing Huddersfield Town on Sunday.
After a goalless opening 25 minutes, Aguero opened the floodgates with his first goal before strike partner Gabriel Jesus doubled City's lead.
Aguero then scored his second as the champions moved 3-0 ahead inside 35 minutes. Jon Stankovic pulled one back for Huddersfield just before half-time, but that proved no more than a consolation as David Silva re-established City's three goal lead with a stunning free-kick early in the second half.
Aguero completed his hat-trick with 15 minutes remaining and was immediately substituted, with his replacement, Leroy Sane, forcing an own goal from Terence Kongolo to complete the rout.
City move top of the league table on goal difference ahead of Chelsea, Watford, Tottenham and Bournemouth - all of whom have also won their opening two matches.
