Brentford will become the 50th club to play in the league when they get their campaign underway against Arsenal

The new Premier League season gets under way on August 13 as promoted Brentford take on Arsenal.

It will make Brentford the 50th club to play in the Premier League, now in its 30th year, against one of only seven of its champions.

Arsenal are one of the league's six-ever present clubs, alongside Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.

Champions Manchester City hold a host of Premier League records, including most points and most goals scored in a single season.
