Cricketers who earned big money at IPL auction before they earned it

IPL auctions over the years have changed the lives of many cricketers of modest status. Here are three players whose auction price grossly outweighed their achievements in the game to that point.
Tyron Henderson, 2009, Rajasthan Royals
A burly South African nicknamed "The Blacksmith", on account of his rustic batting, fetched US$650,000 (Dh2.4 million) from the defending champions before the second Indian Premier League. His international experience extended to one Twenty20 for South Africa, but he had made a name for himself with big hitting for Middlesex in England's T20 cup.
Chris Morris, 2013, Chennai Super Kings
Signed by Chennai for $625,000 ahead of last year's competition after impressing their coach, Stephen Fleming, with his efforts while playing for the Lions in the Champions League. So, one wicket for 24 runs, including a maiden, are decent T20 figures? It seems a lot on which to base such a substantial outlay.
Corey Anderson, 2014, Mumbai Indians
Just 23 and may have an international career of great substance ahead of him for New Zealand, but he is already well set financially. The 14 sixes he hit in scoring the fastest one-day international ton on New Year's Day brought him fame and a deal worth $750,000 to play for Mumbai.
