UAE cricket crowds have always been thrilled by Shahid Afridi’s batting, but it has usually been his bowling which has been his most reliable source of success down the years.
The same has been the same so far in his stint captaining Pakhtoons in the first T10. He took a hat-trick with his first three balls on Day 1, in a remarkable start to the tournament.
Bengal Tigers actually lost the first 10-over league match, against Kerala Kings but you cannot keep a side captained by Sarfraz Ahmed down for long.

6.15pm, Team Sri Lanka v Kerala Kings
Paul Stirling, the Irish opener for Kerala Kings, is in stunning form. He has scored 203 runs in the course of three matches in separate formats so far this week, and been dismissed just once.
He has yet to lose his wicket at all in T10 cricket. His captain, Eoin Morgan, will be hoping he continues in that vein against a Team Sri Lanka side still looking for their first win in T10 cricket.
8.30pm, Maratha Arabians v Punjabi Legends
Alex Hales is in fine touch at the top of the batting order for Maratha Arabians, which is remarkable really, considering his absence from the cricket field for the past three months.
The England opener has scored 89 runs from 41 balls in two matches so far, and has been dismissed just once.
Shoaib Malik found his range for Punjabi Legends against Kerala Kings, hitting an unbeaten 60 in the eight-wicket win.
