Al Wasl have confirmed the signing of Helder Barbosa from AEK Athens, a transfer that completes their foreign contingent for the 2016/17 Arabian Gulf League campaign.
The Dubai club, who finished sixth last season, finalised the transfer on Wednesday, with the Portuguese winger agreeing to a two-year deal with Rodolfo Arruabarrena’s side.
Barbosa, 29, spent two seasons in the Greek capital, making 68 appearances and scoring 15 goals.
