“Al Nasr Club announce the signing of Luis Jimenez on a two-year deal,” the club announced on its official Twitter account.

“The player will begin his medical process on Saturday, July 4. The process will be completed on July 9.”

Jimenez, a Chilean-Palestinian, will take the slot of Nasr’s Asian player, and joins Roma midfielder Marquinho as part of the club’s new-look foreign quartet.

Having parted company with Australian Brett Holman, now of Emirates, Pablo Hernandez, and Renan Garcia, Nasr remain in the market for new recruits.

Jimenez arrives at the Maktoum Stadium with a wealth of Arabian Gulf League experience, having spent four seasons at Al Ahli.

During his time at Ahli, Jimenez won the Arabian Gulf League and Arabian Cup double in 2013/14 and the President’s Cup in 2013.

Prior to his move to the UAE, Jimenez spent the majority of his career in Italy, with Ternana, Fiorentina, Lazio, Inter Milan, and Parma.
