New York Fashion Week kicked off two days ago with its usual flurry of well-dressed editors, bloggers and socialites making their way out into the open.
However, from day one it was clear that everyone’s attitude towards womenswear was changing. From the make-up free, trainer-clad show attendees to the minimalist prairie-inspired collections of BCBG Max Azria and Coach.
