On September 27, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, called on citizens to join the largest national brainstorming session to promote fresh thinking and innovation in generating ideas for developing the health and education sectors.
He challenged young people to share their best suggestions on how the Government can empower them, using the hashtag #NationalYouthDialogue.
“Most of our nation is made up of our youth: our future is in their hands. We are a young country, proud of its youth,” he tweeted.
Twitter users agreed with Sheikh Mohammed, saying that it’s not just the UAE but the future of any country is in the hands of its youth.
Shamma Al Mazrui, the Minister of Youth, drew inspiration from Sheikh Mohammed’s words, as she vowed to prove her mettle through actions rather than words.
She also urged young people to join hands to build the country.
“Together we can overcome any challenge,” she said.
“Unity is our great strength.”
