Cool temperatures with the chance of rain in northern regions are expected from Monday, with more wet weather forecast across the UAE in the week ahead.
It will be humid overnight on Sunday, adding to the risk of fog in coastal areas and reduced visibility on the roads into the early hours of Monday.
On Sunday, the lowest temperature in the country was expected to be in Sila, Al Dhafra, plummeting to 10°C.
The highest temperature on Sunday will be in Fujairah, where the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) forecasts a peak at 28°C.
The following day, lows of 12°C are forecast in Al Ruwais and Al Quaa. Monday's high is expected to be 28°C in Sweihan.
The mercury is forecast to hit 25°C in Abu Dhabi on Monday, with Dubai peaking at 26°C. However, those roles will be reversed with a low of 15°C in Dubai and 18°C in Abu Dhabi.
On Tuesday, while it will be largely sunny, light rain is expected, with cloudy skies developing across much of the country throughout the day.
The lowest temperature on Tuesday is expected to be 10°C in Al Quaa, with 26°C in Al Ain the highest. In Abu Dhabi and Dubai lows of 17°C are expected on Tuesday, with highs of 25°C and 26°C, respectively.
Fog and mist are expected early on Wednesday, with freshening, 35kph winds from the north-east blowing up dust and creating potentially hazardous driving conditions.
The mercury is forecast to drop to 10°C on Wednesday, in Gasyoura, Al Quaa, Razeen and Al Ain. Highs of 23°C are expected in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Mezaira, Gasyoura, Al Quaa, Al Ain, Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah.
