Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC), discussed Arab security and solidarity with Nabih Berri, Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, during his official visit to Beirut.
They also spoke of the importance of strengthening parliamentary relations between the two countries, according to the state news agency.
Arab national security and solidarity was the main focus of their meeting, which also touched on the long-standing fraternal ties between the UAE and Lebanon across multiple sectors.
During the talks, Mr Ghobash affirmed the UAE’s keenness to strengthen the deep-rooted fraternal and historical relations between the UAE and Lebanon across political, economic and cultural fields.
