Two Emiratis killed and three injured in Saudi car crash

Three Emiratis injured in a car accident in Saudi Arabia have been airlifted to a hospital in the UAE. Two other UAE nationals were killed in the crash.

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs said three Emiratis were airlifted to the UAE by the National Search and Rescue Centre of the National Guard's air ambulance.

They have been admitted to Sheikh Khalifa Medical City for treatment, after initially receiving care at King Khalid Hospital in Hail, the ministry added.

The remains of the deceased have been repatriated to the UAE with the assistance of Saudi authorities, state news agency Wam reported.

No further details of the accident or the victims have been released.
