During the pandemic, Ms Ashouri noticed that a lot of cats were being abandoned by their owners. She opened The Cat Jungle to provide a safe space for the animals.
The shelter allows cat lovers to spend time with the animals.
It took Ms Ashouri six months to take in the cats living in the sanctuary, which now number close to 40.
The Cat Jungle has proven a popular concept and it is always full of eager customers.
