  At two square metres, the shop in the in the Old Grand Bazaar of the Iranian capital is considered one of the smallest in the world.

  Mr Mabhutian took over the business from his father, who bought the teahouse in 1962 from its original owner.

  Established in 1918, it is listed on Iran's National Cultural Heritage List.

  The 105-year-old teahouse attracts the attention of local and foreign tourists and traders.

  Mr Mabhutian holds a metal coin inscribed with a poem along with the name of his Haj Ali Darvish Teahouse.
