Here’s a cool idea for the summer: send the kids to learn to ice skate. Children ages 6 and older who attend the one-week Dubai Ice Rink Summer Skate School will be taught in small classes of 10 to 15 students with a dedicated coach teaching the fundamentals of skating and basic manoeuvres through lessons, games and a skating session.
Each day begins with a 30-minute lesson, followed by a series of games to reinforce the skills they just learned. Then a free-skating session gives students additional practice to help boost their confidence in their abilities.
Dubai Ice Rink certificates will be issued at the end of the week, signifying the children have attained basic ice-skating levels.
