Yas Island will play host to Abu Dhabi’s largest free fitness festival this weekend on March 1 and 2.
On Friday and Saturday, Gateway Park South will become an outdoor gym, with fitness classes, outdoor adventure challenges and well-being workshops taking place across both days.
There are classes to suit both beginners and avid gym-goers, as well as family friendly workouts and talks from world-class instructors. Classes will be running back-to-back all weekend, with the option to take part in HIIT workouts, hula hooping, Zumba, CrossFit, aerobics, and Les Mills group fitness classes such as Sh’bam or BodyJam, BodyPump, BodyCombat and BodyAttack.
Yas Fitness & Wellbeing will also host a dedicated Yoga Zone with back-to-back classes, talks and meditation sessions from 9am to 7pm each day. Abu Dhabi Ladies Club will be hosting ladies only classes each morning at 9am and 10am.
To recover between classes, the Relaxation Zone by Heavenly Spa from the Westin will be giving free massages, and the Slim n' Lite Healthy Cooking Challenge will be serving up quick and healthy recipes for people to try.
