The Terry Fox Run returns to Abu Dhabi on Friday. The 8.5 kilometre run, or walk, will begin and end at Al Sahil Beach on the Abu Dhabi Corniche. Registration begins at 7am with the run starting at 9am. The money raised will go to cancer research.
The Sharjah World Music Festival concludes on Friday night with a Khaleeji pop concert. Performing at the Al Majaz Amphitheatre are Yemeni-Emirati singer Balqees and veteran Kuwaiti crooner Abdulla Al Rowaished.
Another Oscar hopeful film lands in UAE cinemas this week. Catch the Academy Award winners' actors Meryl Street and Tom Hanks star in the new political thriller The Post.
Finally, Italian food lovers can learn the culinary secrets behind their favourite dishes by signing up to Italian Cooking masterclasses at Raffles Dubai. The sessions will be held every Saturday until March 3.
