Organising a chauffeur to the airport in Abu Dhabi just got easier with Etihad Airways now taking bookings online.
The service, which could previously only be booked via the national carrier's call centre or through a travel agent, is now available on its website.
The enhancement to the chauffeur transfer option, which is available to First and most Business-class guests on a complimentary basis, also allows passengers to amend or cancel their booking.
Customers will receive an SMS or email confirmation of their booking along with their scheduled pick-up time, giving them greater control over their travel.

Chauffeur transfers can be booked up to 12 hours prior to departure and travellers connected with their driver prior to collection.
“This new service enhancement provides a seamless transportation experience for our guests, and enables them to be in direct contact with their chauffeur at all times,” says Jamal Ahmad Al Awadhi, Etihad Airways' head of guest experience commercial. “It is important that our renowned Etihad experience exists across the entire customer journey, from home to the airport, from the gate to the aircraft, and then upon arrival at their destination.”
