Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, has been sharing pictures from a winter break on Canada’s ski slopes.

The royal is well known for his love of adventure holidays, whether he is cycling in Estonia, exploring the Faroe Islands, hiking in Mongolia, spearfishing, cave diving or swimming with whale sharks.

In the first of a series of snaps from his latest trip, Sheikh Hamdan posted a selfie against a mist-covered mountainscape, with the message: “Good morning from here.”

In another, he looks pensively over his balcony at a wintry landscape, complete with spruce trees, snow-covered buildings and a swimming pool. The image is captioned: “#Calmness."

Elsewhere, he is seen in action – fully decked out in snow gear with his face partially covered – as he takes to the slopes on his snowboard.

While Sheikh Hamdan did reference Canada in one of his posts, he did not specify where in the country he is. One of his followers may have given it away, though, when they commented: “Welcome to British Columbia.”
