Sharjah's most exclusive hotel has been rebranded. The Al Bait Sharjah is now The Chedi Al Bait, Sharjah.
The hotel originally opened in December 2018 and quickly garnered a reputation as one of Sharjah's most upscale resorts.
The new name for the hotel is in keeping with its luxury offerings. The resort is still set to be managed by parent company GHM, owners of The Chedi brand.
Last year, the hotel made headlines when it launched one of the emirates' most extravagant couple's weekend packages, costing the same price as a 1.5 kilogram bar of gold. The Dh250,000 stay included yacht transfers, a private island picnic and personalised engraved jewellery.
A stay at The Chedi Al Bait, however, will cost you much less at the moment.
To celebrate the opening, guests can currently get up to 45 per cent off the best available rates on advance bookings.
“In the very DNA of the Chedi brand, there are strands of Asian-inspired design wound about a core of local indigenous tradition,” said Hans Jenni, president and co-founder of GHM hotels.
“In Sharjah, we’ve celebrated local aesthetics and heritage by founding the resort on four homes once occupied by prominent Sharjah families, including the residence of Ibrahim Bin Mohammed Al Midfa with its magnificent barjeel (wind tower)," he added.
The Chedi Al Bait, Sharjah offers guests traditionally crafted spacious rooms where the design is heavily influenced by local Emirati culture. In keeping with The Chedi's upscale wellness offerings, the spa spans 500 square metres and offers a wide range of holistic treatments to guests.
The hotel joins The Chedi Muscat, The Chedi Andermatt in Switzerland and The Chedi Lustica Bay in Montenegro.
Advance booking rates at The Chedi Al Bait, Sharjah start from Dh652 (excluding taxes) www.ghmhotels.com
