From December 10 2019, travellers flying from Dubai can take advantage of this new daily service with low-cost airline Flydubai.

Operating on a codeshare with Emirates, flights will depart from Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport. The flight will fly first to Yangon in Myanmar before continuing on to Krabi in Thailand.

Economy fares for the Yangon sector start from Dh2,000 and to Krabi from Dh2,700, both including 20kg of checked baggage and an in-flight meal.

Ghaith Al Ghaith, chief executive officer at Flydubai said: “We are proud to see the flydubai network expand further east today with the launch of flights to Krabi and Yangon.”

As the gateway to Thailand's Andaman Islands, Krabi Town offers travellers a bustling city with impressive beaches and good options when it comes to luxury hotels, excellent restaurants and entertainment options. Discover the Andaman Islands where you can expect limestone crags, stunning mangroves, coconut plantations and dizzyingly high forests surrounded by impossibly blue waters and thriving marine life.
