First Vida resort to open in Umm Al Quwain next month

The family-focused hotel will offer 135 rooms and will be dog-friendly

Emaar Hospitality Group is set to launch its first Vida resort in Umm Al Quwain.

Scheduled to open next month, Vida Beach Resort Umm Al Quwain, will consist of 135 sea-facing rooms and suites, as well as eight beach huts. A range of dining outlets will include the "social eatery" Origins, a concept that has proved popular at sister hotel Vida Emirates Hills. A rooftop lounge, SoCal, will draw its inspiration from Southern California.

Other facilities at the beachfront property include an infinity pool and a spa, while youngsters can enjoy a dedicated children's pool, a splash area and a kids' club. Positioned as a family-friendly destination, there will also be a host of water sports on offer, such as paddleboarding and wakeboarding.

Vida Beach Resort Umm Al Quwain will also welcome dogs, with designated pet-friendly areas throughout the property.

Less than an hour's drive from Dubai, the property is located near Umm Al Quwain's most popular attractions, such as the Corniche and UAQ National Museum, which features a collection of artefacts excavated from nearby archaeological sites. Continuing this cultural theme, the hotel itself will be home to a collection of Emirati art.

The new resort will join three existing city hotels in the Vida portfolio, Vida Downtown, Vida Emirates Hills and Vida Creek Harbour. The upscale lifestyle brand was created to offer lively, vibrant, design-led hotels for a new generation of business and leisure travellers.
