Members of Emirates Skywards are being offered a number of discounts and prizes to mark a major milestone for the loyalty programme.

The frequent flyer programme has just surpassed 25 million members, after gaining five million new users over the past 18 months (that’s 9,259 every day).

Emirates Skywards, which is also the loyalty programme for Flydubai, has 157 partners in 31 countries around the globe, ranging from airlines, hotel chains and financial cobrands. One of its most significant partnerships is with The Dubai Mall, which allows members to collect air miles on every transaction they make.

There is also a network-wide special on Cash+Miles, and a 25 per cent discount on buying and gifting miles. Running from Thursday, September 12 to Monday, September 23, there will also be a number of competitions for members.

This year, Emirates Skywards has already won three industry trophies - Best Frequent Flyer Programme from Business Traveller Middle East, Excellence in Management from Global Flight, and Middle East's Leading Airline Rewards Programme from World Travel Awards.
