Dubai’s largest 'experience resort' will be completed with new Jebel Ali hotel

The JA Lake View hotel will open in September, adding to what collectively is called JA The Resort in Jebel Ali

Jebel Ali is set to become one of Dubai’s most frequented destinations when the brand-new JA Lake View Hotel opens in September, making JA The Resort, Dubai’s largest experience resort.

The 348-room hotel will be a place to escape the city, with a design that’s meant to invoke a sense of relaxation. The interiors will highlight light and space and a neutral colour scheme will complement the surrounding scenes of nature, such as the towering palm trees and saltwater lake.

Michelin-acclaimed chef Vikas Khanna will open the doors to Kinara, which will serve contemporary fare of India from the man who hosted MasterChef India. Rooftop lounge Bibe will offer amazing views of the golf course and the Arabian Sea and Republik will be a modern gastropub. The resort's all-day dining restaurant will be called 81, after the year that JA Resorts & Hotels first opened its doors in Jebel Ali.

Back then, Dubai was a very different city and JA Jebel Ali Beach Hotel was one of the first luxury resorts in the Emirates. JA Palm Tree Court followed and now, with the introduction of JA Lake View, the destination, which is collectively known as JA The Resort, will become the biggest in Dubai.

Covering more than one million square metres, guests checking in to any of the JA properties will be spoiled for choice. There will be 23 restaurants and bars to dine in, as well as a plethora of activities, including a championship golf course and golfing academy, a Watercooled water sports centre, private marina, shooting ranges, a bio-garden, tennis courts, squash courts, horse-riding stables and more.
