When it comes to dining, there is a focus on incorporating local ingredients into the menus. All-day dining restaurant The Locale serves Arabian-inspired dishes and international fare in a casual setting. Locally grown organic ingredients are used in many of the dishes.

Up on the 15th floor, Hanami offers a contemporary take on Japanese Izakaya alongside awesome city views. The brightly coloured Andaz Lounge is a good place for a cozy night in – it has den seating, a well-stocked library and full bar service.

For those looking to unwind, there's a spa called Ora on the 14th floor, and next door, the rooftop Cabana is an adults-only pool area and fitness centre.

In 2020, the hotel will also open La Coco  — a neighbourhood beach club and lounge that will be open for poolside bites and sunset drinks.

Andaz is a Hindi word that means personal style, and each hotel in the Hyatt brand has a distinctive personality that's designed to highlight the location in which it is based.

Andaz Dubai The Palm is the brand's second hotel in the UAE after Andaz Dubai Capital Gate in Abu Dhabi.

The rates for the standard rooms are currently quoted as Dh799 per night for this week.
