Do you think of yourself as a bit of an adrenaline junkie? Do you get your kicks from high-octane adventures? Does the idea of sunbathing on a beach bore you? If so, then you might want to put yourself forward for Royal Caribbean's new job opportunity.

The Shore Hunter gig will see one lucky applicant embark on an epic voyage, sailing to six countries around the globe on one of the company's luxury ships. In each destination - with stops including Dubai, Japan and the Caribbean - the chosen Shore Explorer will be paid to test as many on-shore adventures as possible, helping the company discover the most adrenaline-fuelled activities in each country to add to its roster.

The excursion will take place over three weeks with the employee getting a Dh30,000 fee for the privilege.

From visiting glaciers in Alaska to white-water rafting in Norway, the winner will post all of of their escapades on Royal Caribbean's Instagram channels, which is also where you need to go to apply.

As well as scoring the global adventure, the applicant will be one of the first to get Insta-bragging rights at the company's brand-new private island in the Caribbean. Called Perfect Day at CocoCay, it will open its doors in May this year and be home to North America’s tallest waterside, zip-lines, splash parks and over-water villas.

If this all sounds like it’s up your street, head to @RoyalCaribbeanUK to share your own epic travel experience via a post, story or IGTV. Use the #shoreexplorer and tag @RoyalCaribbeanUK. Applicants must be over 21 and have a valid passport.

An independent panel of judges including lead singer of The Vamps, James McVey, will help to pick the winning application.
