Two new hotels for Muscat
Travellers to the Omani capital now have two new places to stay. Rotana has opened the Sundus Rotana Muscat, the group's first hotel in Muscat. Next to the airport and close to the new Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre, the four-star hotel has 215 rooms and suites, three restaurants and a fitness centre and wellness club. Rooms cost from Omr46.80 (Dh447) per night including taxes.
Meanwhile, Crowne Plaza has opened its second hotel in the city, the Crowne Plaza Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre. The hotel is situated next to a nature reserve and has 296 rooms, five restaurants, two swimming pools and a large fitness area. Rooms cost from Omr68.45 (Dh650) per night including taxes.
New Radisson Blus for Ajman and Saudi Arabia
In the UAE, visitors to Ajman now have a smart new choice in the form of the centrally-located 148-room Radisson Blu Hotel Ajman. The property has four restaurants, a gym and spa, and offers a free shuttle service to selected shopping areas in Dubai. It also has a private beach at a different location. Rooms cost from Dh420 per night including taxes.
In Saudi Arabia, two new Radisson Blu hotels have opened, in Buraidah, between Riyadh and Medina, and in Jeddah on the Red Sea coast. The Radisson Blu Hotel, Jeddah Al Salam has property has 142 rooms and suites, two restaurants, an outdoor pool and wellness facilities. Rooms cost from Sar730 (Dh715) per night including taxes. The Buraidah hotel has 122 rooms, 12 villas, two restaurants, a spa and fitness centre. Rooms cost from Sar441 (Dh410) per night including taxes.
