Cultural tour
Register to take part in the Travel Through Our Traditions Tour presented by Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Al Ain National Museum. Spend time with Emirati families in their homes and at their farms and get insight to the traditions and customs of Emirati life, especially during the autumn months, which are integral to the date-farming process. The tour will begin at Al Ain National Museum and will continue to Al Ain Oasis, ending at a traditional Emirati household.

Visit the exhibition Hajj: Memories of a Journey, which documents the legacy of the challenging routes pilgrims travelled across continents to take part in Hajj, the fifth pillar of Islam. See rare photographs of Sheikh Zayed, Founding President of the UAE, who made his personal journey in 1979, as well as an interview he made about the purpose of Hajj and addressing political issues of the time.

Green Art Gallery present Theatre of the Absurd, a group exhibition that reflects on the relationship between art and architecture, exploring the different ways in which they influence each other. The Danu Theatre company presents The Al Hamlet Summit. The ruthless new ruler of a fictional contemporary Middle Eastern country is the former king's brother. He has married his brother's widow, and is creating a more westernised state in Kuwaiti playwright Sulayman Al Bassam's take on Shakespeare's Hamlet. The play is performed in English and features a multinational cast.
