Dubai Drama Group present a performance of Willy Russell's Educating Rita, about a hairdresser (Venetia Tiarks-Clark) who seeks to reinvent herself by enrolling in a correspondence course in literature. Her tutor is a middle-aged professor, Frank (Bryan MacKenzie), and despite their different backgrounds and stages in life, they learn about themselves and each other as they forge a tentative relationship.

Warehouse421 presents Community and Critique: SEAF Cohort 4, an exhibition of works marking the culmination of the year-long Salama bint Hamdan Emerging Artists Fellowship programme (SEAF) featuring works by 15 artists. A fundamental pillar of the programme is critique – reflection, questioning and analysis – and the public are invited into the artists' studio to join in the critique process. Three members of the trombone section of the Netherlands' Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra accompanied by pianist Jeroen Bal will perform in the Abu Dhabi Classics series. The programme When Art Meets Music includes works by Schubert and Brahms, and from the 17th-century to the modern era, such as Couperin's Three Dance Pieces, Liszt's Ave Maria and Ferro and Reijngoud's A Friend for a Friend.

Dubai Ice Rink presents Back to Cool, a series of fun skating activities. The Skate School has courses to help new skaters of all ages learn the fundamentals and for advanced skaters to hone their skills. Hockey School teaches students power-skating, stick-handling and puck-control. Ice Tots is a group session for mothers and children. Coffee Mornings is a 30-minute group skating session with an hour of free skating, plus coffee and a pastry from Caffé Nero.
