Style guru and businesswoman Danielle Warren reveals her favourite things

Born in Ascot, Berkshire, England, Danielle Warren, 27, moved to Dubai three years ago in search of a new life. She now heads two companies: the first, Simply Talent, has been running for a year and provides staff for the entertainment and modelling industries. Her second, elegance.ae, is a new concept aimed at delivering the joys of a professional salon to your home, and will be launched this month.

My favourite Elegance treatment is the facial. Faeye, our therapist from the UK, is fantastic. She knows everything about skin types and products. YSL Touche Éclat is perfect for instantly rescuing those tired eyes, which often happens in this business. My style is high street meets designer. I believe in buying what you like and not following a trend. For a bargain I head to the Outlet Mall, Dubai - you never know what you'll find for a fraction of the price.

My guilty pleasure is definitely shoes; I own 55 pairs. I just love how changing my shoes can change an entire look. Pierchic at Al Qasr Hotel, Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai is my favourite restaurant. The food and atmosphere are great, and the oysters are fabulous. I've travelled the world and think Dubai has the best hotels, particularly Jumeirah Beach Hotel. The rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows, facing the Burj Al Arab, and offer full sea views.

Roberto Cavalli is my favourite designer. All his red carpet dresses are stunning. I haven't seen this man do one bad dress yet. I love riding my horse, Dahmani, in the desert. It's a great way to escape the rat race and gives me open space, allowing me to relax and enjoy the scenery. I hate to admit it but I can't travel without my BlackBerry. I just can't go anywhere without checking e-mails for both businesses. Even if I were stranded on a desert island I'd want my BlackBerry.

My favourite holiday destination has to be Italy. No particular city, anywhere there will do. It has so many amazing places to see. I just love the food, the people and the language. I like all the Hed Kandi albums. They have such a good range of music, and depending on my mood I can always find one to suit. I like to protect my hair from the heat with S-Factor Papaya Leave-In Moisture Spray. You can't get it here in Dubai so I have it sent from the UK. It's great for dry hair as it puts all the moisture back and leaves a nice shine.

My favourite memory is visiting Disney World as a child with the whole family. The combination of the rides and the place itself is something you can't forget. Givenchy's Very Irrésistible is my ideal scent. It's not too heavy and whenever I wear it I'm always complimented.

I LOVE DUBAI BECAUSE... You can be busy no matter what time of day. The malls are open till late, there's a different event every night and the beaches and desert allow for so many activities.
