A meeting of two queens took place in London this week as Queen Rania paid a visit to Buckingham Palace to meet with Queen Elizabeth II.
Queen Rania was joined by King Abdullah II, and their eldest son, Crown Prince Hussein, on a royal visit to the United Kingdom, which saw the family stop at the palace following a trip to the Jordan Growth and Opportunity Conference.
The two royal families are no strangers to each other, and have enjoyed many meetings over the years. Most recently, Prince William was pictured watching the World Cup with Prince Hussein during a visit to Jordan last summer.
Queen Rania opted for a formal fuchsia dress for the meeting, paired with lilac stilettos from Jordanian-Romanian shoe designer Amina Muaddi.
The footwear designer later revealed the royal had plumped for her Thalia pumps, writing on Instagram: "I am so honoured to see my Queen in my shoes."
Muaddi, the former co-founder and creative director of Oscar Tiye, established her eponymous label last year, and counts Gigi Hadid and Kylie Jenner among her fans.
Queen Elizabeth II wore an ivory, textured long-sleeved dress, while Princess Anne, who was also present for the meeting, chose a green blazer and pencil skirt.
The Jordanian royals are actually part-British, as Princess Muna al-Hussein, King Abdullah II’s mother, was born in Suffolk.
