Much has changed since May 19, 2018.
We now live in a world where face masks are de rigueur, many have been unable to see family members for months on end, and industries, businesses and economies have suffered aftershocks in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Britain's royal family has also undergone a number of changes in the past year or so, with births, deaths and a shake-up in senior members.
But, three years ago, all eyes were on a happier occasion taking place at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot in a ceremony broadcast around the world, with the former Suits actress becoming the Duchess of Sussex and joining the royal family as a senior working member.
In the years that have passed, the couple welcomed their first child, with Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor born in May 2019, and are soon set to herald another baby, a daughter expected this summer.
Last year, the Sussexes also announced they would be stepping back from the royal family, relocating to California, US, where they have since embarked on a number of opportunities, such as Prince Harry launching a TV show with Oprah Winfrey.
The couple have also inked a deal with Spotify, held a bombshell interview with Winfrey and Markle has announced the release of her debut children's book.
This year marks Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex's third wedding anniversary, though the couple have not yet released a statement or any new photographs to celebrate the occasion.
