If you weren't at the Dolby Theatre watching the 91st Academy Awards live last night, the place to be was at the Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards viewing party in West Hollywood.

Heidi Klum, Busy Philipps and Christina Ricci all walked the red carpet as they arrived at the chic event, which the Rocket Man singer throws annually to celebrate Hollywood's biggest night of the year.
It was a night to shine, it seems, with Philipps, Klum and AnnaLynne McCord making metallic fashion choices. Elton John himself also donned a sequinned blazer for the event, accessorised with his trademark bedazzled sunglasses.
Every year the British singer throws the VIP viewing party to raise money for the Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy. He has been throwing the party since 1993, and the 2018 event raised almost Dh22 million.
Guest at the 2018 event, Glee star Lea Michele, said of the singer's foundation: "Everything that they do is so admirable."
