Abu Dhabi's roads were taken over by a convoy of Volkswagens this weekend as more than 250 cars took part in the Dub Drive GCC 2019.

The event is the largest gathering of Volkswagen owners and drivers in the Middle East, attracting fans from across the Emirates as well as from Bahrain, Lebanon, Kuwait, Oman and Saudi Arabia.
Hundreds of vehicles including Golfs, Camper Vans, Beetles and more took part in a parade around the city that culminated at Yas Marina circuit. Motoring activities, displays of modified vehicles and family-friendly entertainment also took place.

Motorists drive from across the GCC to take part in the event every year and this edition saw female drivers from Saudi Arabia join the parade.
