Ford has been somewhat hesitant to come out with a hot version of its Fiesta, but that's soon going to change. We have the best shots yet of what's to become the new Ford Fiesta ST. The prototype is currently undergoing handling tests at the challenging Nürburgring in Germany. The test makes it easy to guess what sort of cannonball - with its huge rear spoiler, larger front grille and a rear diffuser - the Fiesta ST is going to be. A new 1.6L EcoBoost petrol engine with 177hp will be the heart of the new car and insiders state it's going to be greener than the ageing 2.0L that has just 150hp. The new unit combines a relatively small capacity with direct injection, a small but fast turbocharger and twin independent variable camshaft timing (Ti-VCT). The new Fiesta ST is going to be presented this year or early next.

How has net migration to UK changed?
