Over the last week, Ozone, an Indian internet business with a substantial presence in Dubai, has advertised the Horse.ae domain name as being up for grabs, in a series of ads in the Arabic and English media.
Asking price? Somewhere in the Dh6 million (US$1.6mn) range. The good news? It is sold:

But for those who haven't already left Beep Beep and made your way to a .ae accredited registrar and started searching for every potentially "prestigious" .ae web address, then lets all cheer together for the beginnings of a new, completely pointless speculative bubble.
And an even bigger cheer for the genius who registered the .ae domains of Dunkin Donuts, Baskin Robbins and Hardees -
although his ownership is probably short lived
