It's not all about the 'Gram you know, especially if you're a Katy Perry fan.

The mega star is the most followed person on Twitter with 107m followers, but isn't it time she stepped aside and let someone else be queen or king of the Twittersphere?

It's a different story over on Instagram, the social media hub of choice these days, where Cristiano Ronaldo has shot to the top and Ariana Grande last week became the most followed woman ahead of Selena Gomez.

Perry, who has 76m Instagram followers (less than half what Ronaldo has), joined Twitter in 2009 and was the first person to reach 100m followers in 2017.

Her domination has since continued, with Justin Bieber and Barack Obama closely in tow.

Who though is in the running to nudge her off top spot? Can Bieber gain a new army of fans, or will there be a new kid on the block? Let us know in the poll below...
