Abu Dhabi's Fairmont Marina Abu Dhabi hotel will open in March this year, Accor hotels has confirmed.
In a tweet, Fairmont Hotels and Resorts replied to an interested guest, who inquired about the opening date of the residences at the hotel, saying "the Fairmont Marina, Abu Dhabi is anticipated to open in March 2020".
Previously, the hotel group confirmed on its website that the waterfront hotel would open in 2020, but the month was not announced.

The 39-storey hotel and residential building is on Al Kasir Island and offers views of the Corniche and Abu Dhabi skyline. When it opens, it will offer a private beach, five swimming pools and watersports facilities. It will also offer Willow Stream Spa facilities, with 12 treatment rooms for men and women.
There will be 563 guest rooms, with King, Twin, Deluxe, Gold and Signature categories, with sea views or Corniche views available. It has been reported that there will be 249 serviced apartments inside the complex.
Little has been confirmed about the food and beverage outlets at the hotel, apart from an all-day dining eatery, which will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner options.
With its arch, domes and towers, the building has been compared architecturally to Dubai's Atlantis The Palm.
