Jennifer Aniston caused shock waves across the Internet on Tuesday, October 15, when she joined Instagram. Making a splash on the social platform, she started strong, with a photo of herself and her five Friends co-stars, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer and Matthew Perry.
The adorable selfie was simply captioned, "And now we’re Instagram friends too. Hi Instagram," with a waving emoji.
At the time of writing, she had already amassed 7.1 million followers, and her single selfie had 8.6m likes and 368,366 comments, and counting. Notably, however, she also follows 110 people, but who are they?
Who Jennifer Aniston follows on Instagram
Naturally, the first people Aniston followed were her Friends co-stars and selfie buddies, Cox, Kudrow, LeBlanc and Schwimmer; Perry is the last remaining Instagram resister in the cast. A-list friends Chelsea Handler, Robert Downey Jr, Dolly Parton, Reese Witherspoon and Julianne Moore also got an obligatory follow. As did her ex-husband, Justin Theroux.
The list reads like a who's who of Hollywood, with Katy Perry, Gwyneth Paltrow and Jessica Biel all also featuring.
Interestingly, she follows both Apple TV, the producer of her new series, The Morning Show, and Netflix, arguably Apple's biggest rival. She also follows the show's official page.
She has clicked follow on a number of political figures and organisations, including gun safety NGO Everytown and Michelle Obama. She also follows the official Instagram for St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Naturally, there are also characters from the world of fashion, such as Tom Ford, Derek Blasberg and her stylists, Nina and Clare Hallworth. Beauty favourites Charlotte Tilbury, Aveeno and green, clean beauty brand, Nyakio, also crop up.
When it comes to viral content, she isn't following too many meme accounts. She has already cottoned onto two, however, and follows The Dodo, presumably for its incredible animal content, and Comments By Celebs, where her post has already been featured not once or twice, but four times.

Also on December 7 to 9, the third edition of the Gulf Car Festival (www.gulfcarfestival.com) will take over Dubai Festival City Mall, a new venue for the event. Last year's festival brought together about 900 cars worth more than Dh300 million from across the Emirates and wider Gulf region – and that first figure is set to swell by several hundred this time around, with between 1,000 and 1,200 cars expected. The first day is themed around American muscle; the second centres on supercars, exotics, European cars and classics; and the final day will major in JDM (Japanese domestic market) cars, tuned vehicles and trucks. Individuals and car clubs can register their vehicles, although the festival isn’t all static displays, with stunt drifting, a rev battle, car pulls and a burnout competition.
