Inside the Dh120 million Dubai Palm Jumeirah mansion that comes with a Ferrari, Rolls Royce and two cinemas

An ultra-luxurious villa has landed on the Dubai property market. With an asking price of Dh120 million, One 100 is a five-bedroom, 14,000-square-foot home located on Palm Jumeirah's N frond.

It comes complete with sea views and private beach access, naturally.

If you have the necessary millions to buy the property, it is not just a villa you would be investing in, as it comes with a Ferrari, Rolls Royce and Harley Davidson, as well as an art collection that would be the envy of a gallery.

The property is owned by Michael Adam Alibhai, the director of fashion resource company ‎Connection Design Associates. It has been listed for sale by Luxhabitat Sotheby's International Realty.

Alibhai told The National why he has decided to sell the home with the luxury cars and motorcycle.

“It's part of my ultra-luxury concept," he says. "The house is not missing anything so why would it miss having cars? You literally just bring your suitcases, nothing else.”

Finished to five-star hotel standards, the house includes an infinity pool, a gym, two cinemas (one of which has an Imax screen) and a rooftop Jacuzzi. The five-bedroom home has three kitchens, including one professional restaurant kitchen, and eight bathrooms.

The property, which Alibhai has never lived in, had only been finished for a week at the time of writing. “Unfortunately, I have been forced to reconsider my life due to Covid-19. Just as I have completed this piece of art, I came to realise the importance of family,” Alibhai said.

“I have been missing out on valuable moments in life with family and having [had] close friends and family pass away during the Covid-19, and hearing about their regrets, I would not want to live knowing that I didn’t have [friends and family] close to me with moments to cherish and remember.”

He added that it is now time for him to return home to Sweden, after two decades in the UAE.

“I spent 20 years in the UAE away from my family and I’m turning 44 in three months … I’m still single. I felt it's time I started considering having a family of my own and preferably meeting someone from back home in Sweden.

"I guess that when I was 38 and started to develop the house, my plans and life were slightly different from what they are today. Saying this, I do intend to make a similar villa back home in Sweden instead, by using all my knowledge acquired and talent.”

The style of the villa is sleek and modern, finished with Italian marble and furniture and decor by Bentley, Fendi, Louis Vuitton and Hermes.

There are more than 30 pieces of art in the home, including works from French artist Richard Orlinski, Finnish sculptor Eero Aarnio, and pieces by Fidia Falaschetti, as well as a three-metre-tall Bumble Bee statue from the movie Transformers.

“My main inspiration came from the US. I looked at many properties in LA, California, specifically Beverly Hills and Bel Air. I simply loved the mansions and their way of giving it the touch of ultra-luxury,” Alibhai says.

“I redesigned the house twice and as I kept building, I changed my mind probably a hundred times and I demolished areas and rebuilt them as they were not triggering me and satisfying me enough. I simply wanted more and more and to do better and better.

I spent a few good months just amending the floorplan to ensure it was the most functional home from every aspect

"Being a perfectionist, I wouldn’t be able to accept anyone having a negative comment or saying, ‘Yeah it looks OK’. So far, I’ve only heard people coming in saying, ‘Wow, wow, wow’ and that it's the best mansion they have ever seen.”

Alibhai is confident that the property will appeal to investors and sell quickly. When asked about what he thinks will attract a buyer, he replied confidently “every single aspect.”

“Everything has been thought of up to the smallest design aspect. I left nothing unturned, I strived for perfection,” he adds. “I spent a few good months just amending the floorplan to ensure it was the most functional home from every aspect … I would have to say [it’s] a house that has it all, a house that contains all the luxury one could ever wish for.”
