Three years after they were announced, the first Bulgari Residences have been handed over by Meraas and stand ready to welcome their first residents.
Located on Dubai's seahorse-shaped Jumeirah Bay island off the coast of Jumeirah Beach Road, the homes are located within the 1.7 million-square-foot Bulgari Resort & Residences community; the 101-room resort opened in December 2017 and houses the world's first Bulgari Yacht Club.
The hotel will manage the upkeep of the residences and owners can benefit from its catering, concierge and housekeeping services.
The property comprises 168 apartments in one-, two-, and three-bedroom formats, plus six penthouses with four rooms each, and 15 mansions with between three and six bedrooms. All the penthouses and the front sea-view mansions are sold out.
The units have been designed by Italy's famed architectural firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, and are laid out in luxurious materials such as light wood, limestone, silk and sandy golden stone.
The outdoors are very much part of the plan, with wooden terraces and floor-to-ceiling glazed sliding doors providing ample views of the sea and skyline.
Owners can bring in their own interior designers, or choose to have the interiors designed by Citterio-Viel, which offers options of high-end Italian furnishing brands such as B&B Italia, Flexform and Flos.
