Jing Asia’s Eid brunch, which will be served on September 11, includes ouzis, grills, salads and live cooking stations, in addition to its signature Chinese dishes. There will also a be special kids’ station. The hotel’s Lebanese restaurant, Barouk, is also hosting a celebration from September 11 to 13, with live entertainment, a percussionist, singers and a belly dancer. The Brass

Al Safa Street, Citywalk, Dubai

The chefs at The Brass (a coffee-­lover’s dream) have created two new cakes to celebrate Eid. The Nutella milk cake is a sponge soaked in milk and vanilla and then infused with Nutella. But hurry – this one will only be available from September 9 to 17. The ­cinnamon-infused Speculaas Lotus cake – a mildly spiced sponge cake with lotus – is a permanent addition to the menu.

This Argentinian restaurant will serve a handful of special Eid dishes. For mains, try the braised-lamb shoulder with chipotle empanadas or the oven-roasted lamb leg with polenta. The special Eid dessert is a date and pecan tart with coconut ice cream.

Try The Collective Eid brunch, which includes the best bites from the Levant Emporium, Grill Bar, Bombay Cafe and French Boutique Bakery. Expect roasted baby lamb, freekeh-stuffed quail, shawarma, pide (Turkish pizza), salt-crusted salmon, cheese kunafa,Turkish delights, sticky date pudding and more. Awtar is also serving an Eid menu, with authentic Lebanese dishes and live entertainment. Burger and Lobster

Burj Daman Building, DIFC, Dubai

This restaurant in DIFC has a limited menu with, you guessed it, burgers and lobster dishes. It is sticking to what it knows best – but to celebrate Eid two new limited-edition combos are on offer from September 8 to 13. Each combo includes any dish on the menu, two selected beverages (different drinks offered for each combo) and a free dessert or milkshake. The burgers are made from corn-fed, Angus beef, with natural marbling, while the lobster comes from the Atlantic Ocean and is kept fresh in the restaurant’s tanks.

Sweet treats for chocolate lovers

Cocosia is offering a special box of chocolates for Eid, with a collection of handcrafted chocolates that feature intricate Arabic detailing. The chocolate bonbons come in a variety of milk, dark and white chocolate, with praline and ganache. They’re infused with a range of flavours including Earl Grey, jasmine and various fruits.
