Food truck markets seem to be a dime a dozen across the UAE right now, with the latest offering a nine-day feast kicking off on January 19.
Following on from this weekend’s (January 4) Truckers DXB at Dubai Creek Golf Course, Street Food Market DXB will feature 20 pop-up food concepts and trucks in a creative outdoor setting with the beats of local DJs providing the backdrop.
The culinary fun will take place a Dubai International Marine Club until January 28, with food including fusion dishes where ‘East meets West’, revisited burgers and hotdogs concepts, to a giant smoking barbecue and grill for meat lovers.
Entrepreneur Alexandre Teodoresco is behind the market and he’s looking forward to it.
“We are excited to launch a new innovative concept tailored for Dubai’s food-savvy communities, offering a ‘free spirited’ outdoor event for adults only, where talented food pop-up and food truck vendors are encouraged to surprise and amaze our guests with delicious creations,” says Teodoresco.
Street Food Market DXB is for adults over the age of 21 and entry costs Dh10 per person. Opening hours are from 8pm to 2am on Thursdays, 12pm to 2am on Fridays, and from 4pm to 11pm on Saturdays.
