Finally! The long-awaited Organic Foods & Cafe shop in the Nation Galleria opened its doors today. The family-run store is a one-stop shop for organic and biodynamic food, supplements, skincare products, cosmetics, baby items and cleaning products. There are already three shops in Dubai and one in Masdar City, but the new location is the first in downtown Abu Dhabi. (Open daily from 9am to 11pm. 02 665 4244)
In other Nation Galleria news, the Smoking Doll restaurant is also officially open for business. Smoking Doll is an Asian fusion restaurant with a heavy Thai influence. You may have already tasted the food at its original location on Al Reem Island. With nearly 100 items on the menu, you’ll probably find something you like. And it just might be the most affordable place to open (so far) in the posh Nation Galleria. (Open daily from 11am to 11pm. 600 560 603)
