La Tablita, the Mexican restaurant in the Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek, is hosting a carnival in a nod to one of the best known carnivals in Mexico, held in the port city of Veracruz.
Because Veracruz is known for its seafood, La Tablita will be serving plenty of fish served up in a seafood corner, including grilled huachinango – Veracruz-style red snapper. The fiesta will also feature a Mexican buffet with a taco stand, Mexican stews, Mexican street food and a Mexican-spiced lamb dish that’s been cooked for 16 hours.
The carnival will host a competition for the best dressed guests, who will be crowned the king and queen of the carnival. The winners will get dinner and drink for free on the night. To keep the night festive, there will also be a piñata and live entertainment by Latin singer Edikson.
