One of the UAE’s favourite food retailers, Jones the Grocer, has opened an outlet in Dubai’s Emirates Golf Club, complete with a walk-in cheese room.

This latest location brings the company’s tally to 24 worldwide and 14 in the emirates, this being the sixth in Dubai where it occupies the ground floor of what is one of the city’s most highly regarded venues. The restaurant, which is open to all residents and visitors, is fully licenced, has a children’s play area, lounge seating and space for up to 250 diners.

Jones the Grocer was established in 1996 with the opening of its flagship eatery and deli in Sydney, Australia. Since then it has gone on to expand into New Zealand and across the Far East and Middle East. The company’s CEO, Yunib Siddiqui, commented regarding the opening that: “A new home at Emirates Golf Club is an opportunity for us to host diners in a leisurely and lush setting.”

The new venue will be stocked with a wide range of groceries and the brand’s signature products, all available for purchase, including selected homeware as well as its famed jams, chutneys, teas and coffees. A take-away counter is also included for those in more of a hurry.
